Low cost video conferencing recording and streaming

We are pleased to announce the addition of Emblaze VCon to our product portfolio. Vcon offers a highly cost effective video conference, video recording and video streaming solution that enables HD video conferencing between conference room systems, and PCs providing multimedia communication across the campus, or across the world. VCon video conferencing is able to operate over Meru Networks Wireless.

Vcon solutions offer three key advantages over their competition:
  • Embedded recording and streaming and broadcasting.
The system may be used to record video conferences, or just to record what the camera sees. Either the live or recorded video may be streamed to video conference end points or to normal desktops. This enables many educational applications for example
    • recording of lessons for observation.
    • creation of a lesson library with playback on demand.
    • live streaming of lessons to school wide or worldwide audiences
    • streaming of recorded lessons to schoolwide of worldwide audiences
  • Low cost MCU
Many manufacturers offer Multi-conference units (video conference bridges) but usually at exorbitant prices.
Vcon provides a nine way MCU embedded in its conference room solution, for less than the price of many systems which do not include MCU. Their larger systems offering 26 way conferencing are around half of the price of other commercially available system.
  • Solutions from low cost to no cost.
Having a video conference system can be like being the owner of the first telephone. Its great, but who do you call?

Vcon conference room video conference systems represent extraordinary value for money. Solutions are also available as software only, and as browser plug-ins. The browser plugin versions enable distribution without end user license. This enables system owners to invite anyone into a video conference, free of charge, with the remote client being provided as a download to the remote users browser.
