Cut Leased Line Costs with Wireless WAN

Siracom is pleased to announce the addition of Bridgewave to its portfolio of Wireless WAN products.

Wireless WAN is a technology that replaces leased lines with wireless connections, and replaces the annual rental with a one off capital cost (usually less than the annual rental) and a small maintenance charge. The technology is wireless, but it is not the same as wi-fi. It is fast, reliable, and operates over long range.

Bridgewave enables wireless full duplex gigabit ethernet connections between buildings which have "line of sight". Operating at distances upto 5 miles a Bridgewave "wireless fibre" enables organisations to increase the speed of their leased lines whilst dramatically cutting costs.

A wireless fibre typically pays for itsself within the first six months of operation.
